Abdominus binding treatment

What is diastasis recti?

Abdominus muscle is a paired muscle running from thorax to pelvis vertically and separated by midline connective tissue called linea alba. During pregnancy, ovary secretes hormones relaxin to widen pregnancies paired abdominal muscles in order letting the paired muscle to separate and hence give room for embryo growth. However, if the abdominal muscles are still significantly separated after delivery, it causes diastasis recti.

Advantages

  •  Restore the abdominus muscle
  •  Relieve backpain
  •  Support the abdominal and lower back muscles
  •  Tighten the pelvis and hip muscles
  •  Release of edema
  •  Warm the womb

Correct way of abdominal binding
